Sound Form 5 is an exclusive print for Art Works Framers, hand-printed in a limited edition of 15.
Printed using Graphite Letterpress ink on Awagami Editioning Kitakata paper 36gsm which has a very subtle green tone.
A love of Japanese papermaking inspired the presentation of these woodcuts by Gemma Thompson.
Sourcing the same papers as the print itself, we glued and wrapped the moulding head to toe, adding layers of a water-based varnish for durability. While that set, we stretched the paper over an acid free matboard to create a one-of-one frame and matboard presentation, showing off the beautiful textures and tones of the Awagami Editioning Kitakata paper.
